Service Description
A course for absolute beginners in the older style commonly called Raqs Sharqi. Baladi, classical and sha’abi. The style follows the early teachings of Suraya Hilal with whom Rita trained extensively from the late 80's to mid 90's. You will need a hip band or scarf. Please also note: Two piece belly dance show costumes are not suitable for the class. Wear practice wear such as a flowing skirt and top, dress or soft trousers and top. Preferably not jeans.
